On a sunny June day, S + J said I do surrounded by their closest friends and family at Glenerin Inn and Spa. They are the sweetest couple who are genuinely just so in love with each other, and it was a pleasure to capture their love for them. They were so excited about their wedding gallery!
I’m going to give you a sneak peek at their wedding gallery and talk through some of my favourite photos and some popular shots I do with my couples on their wedding days. Let’s hop in!
WEDDING GALLERY PEEKS: GETTING READY MORNING WITH THE GIRLS

Flatlays and bridesmaid pj photos are key moments that have become a staple in a wedding gallery these days and ones that I love to provide! I love a “before putting on the dress” moment, and J was so excited about her dress that it was the sweetest, most natural moment for her to admire it! If there’s time and the bride is feeling playful, sneaking in a cute little solo shoot (J’s bridal suit had the perfect tub for it) while the girls finish getting ready can be cute little keepsakes, just for you.
TIP: If you’re wanting bridesmaid pj photos, make sure to build extra time for them into your getting ready morning timeline. We usually have time to snap a few, but if hair and makeup run long, then they may feel rushed.
FIRST LOOKS AND PRIVATE VOWS
J and S chose to have a first look in order to free up time after the ceremony to join their guests in cocktail hour and also chose to do private vows together. This moment was so sweet, just for the two of them and a perfect alternative if you still want personalized vows without having all eyes on you. Making sure your wedding gallery is full of moments that represent the true you is so important!

TIP: I highly recommend a first look with your bridesmaids or bridal parrty as well! Your girls love you so much and it’s so cute to look back on their reactions of you as a bride!

PORTRAITS AND FAMILY PHOTOS

In our 3-month-out meeting, we’ll talk through all our key photos and who is needed for each ( ie, I’ll get to know who your important people are and family dynamics to be aware of). Having a Pinterest board for bridal party inspo pics can also be super helpful for me to curate your portraits if there’s something specific you want. If not, don’t worry! I have a ton of ideas in my posing arsenal.

WEDDING GALLERY PEEK: CEREMONY MOMENTS
Glenerin Inn and Spa hosted a beautiful outdoor ceremony space with lush foliage and a background and plenty of seating for guests. One of the things that attracted them to Glenerin Inn and Spa was the old heritage limestone buildings and muskoka-vibes back deck…all right near the city. Their cocktail hour was held out on the patio and reception in the interior room space, making transitions between moments super easy as they are all located on the same property.
TIP: remind your officiant to step out of the way for the first kiss and hold your kiss for longer than 4 seconds (or give a few little ones!)
